THE EXHIBITION SECTOR
Works from different sources
The Museum’s collections, arranged applying chronological criteria in various points of the tour, include works that were donations or are on loan from private or institutional collectors. These include the three marble bas reliefs of Christ in the sepulchre, St Francis and St Clare, dated fifteenth century, and paintings by Legnanino, Mosè Bianchi and Pompeo Mariani. The Pinacoteca di Brera gallery has loaned two paintings by Agostino Ridolfi.
