These campuses, which began in the summer of 2002, have so far attracted hundreds of children and teenagers from the Ticinese quarter, and now constitute a popular annual appointment for many families who entrust the Diocesan Museum with their offspring for an original and truly interesting holiday, enjoying the backing of the Milan City Council Education and Children's Department.
The activities last for a week, Monday to Friday, from 8.30am to 5.30pm (bag lunches to be provided by the family), and include a morning presentation of an artistic technique, and the creation of an original artwork by each child (mosaic, sculpture, painting and tempera on wood panel, miniature, oil on canvas painting, fresco, etc), followed in the afternoon by a range of edutainment activities, with different themes each day.
The campuses are open from the start of school holidays, through the months of June, July and September (until schools reopen).
